Key Facts

"Le Nid Biscornu" or "The Crooked Nest" sits up in the trees, nestled between two buildings of our hamlet, La Tuilerie and La Bastide, with views of the pool area and the old village of Saint Rémy de Provence. Accessible by its own (12 step) staircase, this "nest" is a special "roost" for newlyweds and those celebrating significant anniversaries.

We offer fresh pastries every morning except Sunday; English / German / Spanish and French speaking help when needed; 12 years of ready-to-share knowledge and tips about the region and its attractions for those who ask; and a “sit back and relax” Provence Paradise welcome dinner and breakfast basics for guests staying 5 nights or more and having made their reservation via our website. Croissants and fresh bread every day except Sundays.

Electricity, hot/cold water, a wash/dry machine, completely equipped kitchen, A/C throughout, WIFI, multi-channel TV, off-street parking, the traditional arrival welcome dinner+wine and a supply of breakfast ingredients are provided. Just like in our other, traditional self-catering houses, which are more "down-to-earth."

With not a right angle or straight wall in this little jewel, "The Crooked Nest" is specifically designed for two people. It has one bedroom with a double bed and en suite bath, a very nice kitchen and a comfortable living room. The windows to the west offer glorious view of sunsets as well as a bird's-eye view over the old town of Saint Rémy. A large (3m x 3m) terrace suspended four meters above the gardens adds charm and comfort to this unique "treehouse."

Do you have additional guests for just a few days? A "Guest Quarters" option within the Provence Paradise property is available with a king-size bed, and small salon with en suite bath and toilette. Rental prices range according to the season.

All of our guests share the large, 7x10 metre pool with outdoor seating, plus family whirlpool (heated year-round) and summer kitchen – all of which are just a few steps away, down an old stone stairway nearby. We even have a Roman Aqueduct, which fed water to the property, next to the pool. Protected parking for two automobiles.
